Preparing accurate evidence before submission reduces avoidable rejection and helps expose services that may be affected.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Complete number list<\/h2>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">List every number to move and identify the main billing number. Include DDIs, advertised numbers and numbers used by alarms, lifts, fax or remote services. State whether each number is individual or part of a range.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Current provider and account details<\/h2>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Provide the current supplier, account reference, legal account name and trading name where relevant. The invoicing company may be a reseller rather than the underlying range holder, so retain both pieces of information when known.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Installation address and postcode<\/h2>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Use the address recorded against the service, which may be an old office rather than the current billing address. Do not \u201ccorrect\u201d historic information in the port request unless the losing provider updates its record first.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Recent bill or service record<\/h2>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A recent bill can evidence the account name, reference and numbers, although not every DDI is always shown. Add service inventories or provider letters where they clarify a range.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Authority to port<\/h2>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The gaining provider may require a signed letter or order from an authorised representative. Confirm the signatory, company details and contact information. Keep the authority narrow and accurate.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Associated services<\/h2>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Record broadband, ISDN, SIP trunks, alarms and bundles associated with the number. Ask what will cease or change after the port. Moving the number can have consequences beyond voice routing.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">New destination and routing<\/h2>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Define where each number will route on the new <a href=\"https:\/\/www.it-communicationsltd.co.uk\/telephone-numbers\/\">business telephone-number platform<\/a>. Include schedules, queues, DDIs, voicemail and failure routing.
